OUR GREY BRALETTE BEHIND THE DESIGN The idea of a classic grey bralette was something that we loved but what we didn’t love was the existing options on the market. Every bralette bikini we tried was either uncomfortable, unflattering or both. The only comfortable bralette bikinis available did not shape our boobs and seemed to flatten them rather than give them a fuller and elevated look. While comfort was a giant factor for us, we wanted the supportive benefits of under-wire and padding but desperately did not want our grey bralette bikini to be digging into our skin or constantly soggy. We discovered this was a big issue for bralette bikinis because traditionally, pattern makers use darting, underwire or padding to structure the bikini. Therefore, there is a misconception that bralette bikini tops will not be supportive if they do not contain these features. After conducting all of our research, we decided we wanted to craft the ultimate grey bralette that provides support and comfort through its construction. If you are someone that rarely strays away from black and white, grey is the perfect colour to change things up. We have designed our grey with a blue undertone to ensure it suits all skin types. Luxe Fabrics: Our bikini tops are made with the softest and most luxe-to-touch fabric on the market. As a result of being made with such luxurious swimwear material, our grey bralette dries fast and is silky smooth against your skin. Comfortable fit: To ensure that our grey bralette is the best fit we designed the bralette specifically so that the outside of the cup was tighter than the inside, encouraging your breasts to sit in an upwards position. We found that to maximise further comfort and bikini style, our bralette bikini top had to be seamless and fitted to give a ‘fuller’ and ‘perkier’ look. Adjustable: We knew that our straps needed to be adjustable, especially as swimwear expands after a few wears in the water. Supportive: While designing our bralette bikini structure, we took into consideration of the size of the band around each bralette.
